Potato casserole with apples (preparing 40 min.+ 35 baking)

I was very curious about this recipe 🧐 Potatoes 🥔 apples 🍎🍏 onions 🧅 I am absolutely a fan of all of them 💚
Frankly, I have never used wine in cooking. Thyme has very strong aroma....hm.............. (?)

Surprise 🙆‍♀️ I added great pinch of thyme and it tastes perfect. All ingredients give a very good and tasty match. Description of original recipe says it tastes like the Fall 🍂 🍁 Well, I agree 🙃

Tips:
You might be surprised. Not all wines are Vegan 😳
In filtration process there might be used the ingredients of animal origin. It is sad because absolutely no needed. If You looks carefully then You will find good, not expensive wine with VEGAN sign.

I strongly encourage to try these products to see it is easy and worth. We can have all and live in perfect balance with the world which surrounds Us 💚

First of all, check if you have all the necessary ingredients for this recipe. Pay attention to the quantities!

1/2 kg of potatoes
3 onions
3 firm (hard) apples
great pinch of thyme (5g)
1/3 glass of dry wine
olive oil
salt and ground white pepper

Next, follow the steps to finalize your dish and finally be able to enjoy it!

Potatoes and apples cut into slices (potatoes circa 0,5 cm and apples even thinner). Do not peal them. In the pot boil water (add salt for taste). When it's boiling add potatoes and apples. Cook for 4 minutes.
Cut the onions lengthwise. Preheat the pan with olive oil and cook the onions on low heat for 4 minutes (during this step I used the lid). Next, add wine increase the heat, stir it gently. Stew the onions and wait till wine evaporates.
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Grease the heat-resistant dish with oil. In big pot add potatoes with apples, onions. Add thyme, salt and white pepper. Stir gently.
Put all to the heat-resistant dish and sprinkle with olive oil. Bake for 30-35 min.
